I'm planning on a return to school. I'd like to get into the foodservice/ restaurant industry. The culinary arts program I'm looking at doesn't seem to look at the business side. Would a marketing degree be a better way to go. Saddleback College has a good business dept, but I think I need to take my lumps in the kitchen to excel in the industry? Thoughts

You should look at other programs to see if they have a culinary program that has a business side.
If you have to pick take a marketing degree more options in case you want to change jobs.
